Murdoch and Fox Portray Black Men as Terrorists on 24

"I think you're missing the point. It isn't that the villans are black, it's that the staging of the imagery used to tell the story is obviously meant to resonate with a certain racial mindset, if not trigger that mindset in the first place. For example, the scene where Juma is using the presidents daughter to get the president to come out of the safe room; the image of two black hands holding a knife against the horrorfied face of a young white girl, while a sinister voice threatens to "cut out her eyes, one by one". Do you really believe that's not meant to push certain racial buttons?'

This is the comment I cited as example of excellent writing and insights. Not Savojah's. I don't know how that got changed around.

So the first Black President WAS assassinated while in office after all. Why didn't you just come out and say it. That was my question. Is it that hard for you?

Somehow I don't think Murdoch needs another "Rescue Rupert" ringleader to save him from the scrutiny he and his media conglomerate/propaganda machine deserve.

Victor Frankenstein was a fictional character created by Mary Shelley. We all know of him as the person that created life out of death in the form of a monster. Extending your storyline, Rupert Murdoch is a modern day REAL Frankenstein, who has created a right wing propaganda monster out of his media empire. Your old Professor would not need to strain his imagination too much to characterize Murdoch with terms no less charged than the ones he used to characterize Murdoch's fictional analogue ;-)
