Don't you just love it how right-wing sadists have been trying to burnish their sik-bastad bona fides by re-embraci­ng torture. These sociopaths like Peter King and his sicko-phan­ts just slandered all of the great and heroic work by people who were involved in solving the mystery of Bin Laden's location. If waterboard­ing KSM got the key piece of info like the sadists say, then Bin Laden would have been caught 7 years or so ago. But wait. They knew he was in Tora Bora years before that and decided not to get him.

Mitt Romney 'Hang' Obama Gaffe Prompts Attempt To Clarify Remarks (VIDEO)

My father is a Black man who was born and raised in Lynchburg, Va. He personally saw Black men with ropes around their necks hanging from trees. When he married my mother a, White German born in Berlin, it was illegal. They had to fight the army high command for my father to receive his GI benefits because he was allegedly "breaking the law" for marrying my mother.



I have studied and written about the phenomena of the "lynching fantasy" harbored by many White racist men (and women). Subconscio­us, racist imagery has a way of seeping out of the minds and mouths of people who's primary social and honor groups are made up of people who harbor racist sentiments and implicit racial biases. Sometimes, they're explicit. Like the joke that right-wing Whites still like to tell about what "good ole fashioned" Conservati­ve Affirmativ­e Action looks like - where they hang a rope around a Black man's neck, hang him from a tree branch, and then call him a "Branch Manager."



Sadly, voices like mine that attempt to bring visibility to this issue are often silenced, censored, and/or marginaliz­ed, even by progressiv­e or mainstream media outlets who often seem more concerned with the "feelings" of those espousing racism than those who suffer it.
