CaWa - you misinterpreted my post and substituted your own projection for what what I said. You also used your own anecdotal experience with a few new agers to negate my point. I did NOT espouse MY view of unconditional love. Rather, I expressed the implicit understanding and practice of it by a very large number of people who follow new age spirituality and self empowerment "forums."

My insights come after over twenty years of studying this phenomena and being around these communities and observing what occurs and listening very closely to what is said and how the concept of unconditional love is actually applied. It is not based on knowing just a few new agers. I have found that the way the concept of unconditional love is actually deployed by large numbers of the followers and leaders to be abhorrent and cynical. That's why I exposed it in my post. I'm sorry that you projected their cyncial abuse of this concept onto me.

Heaven To Earth: Obama Is Not The Antichrist!

This article in Politico should put to rest the "Karl's just a TV commentator" small talk that I feel purposely minimizes the role he continues to play, whether in U.S., advising Berlusconi in Italy and his proto-fascist/mafioso infused government, etc. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0510/36841.html

Right wing operatives of course want to hide what rove et al are up to. In the words of U.S. Attorney, Patrick Fitzgerald, who investigated the Rove-Cheney involvement in blowing the cover of CIA agent, Valerie Plame, they're experts in "throwing sand in the umpires face," so we can't see what's really going on behind the scenes.

Olbermann Offers "Special Comment" On Joe Wilson: You've "Embarrassed The Nation" (VIDEO)

Joe Wilson, Rev. Joe Watkins, and Pastor Steven Anderson are three sides to the same Republican coin.

All of them are contributing to a conservative political culture of death and "ass-ass-in-nation."

MSNBC's Joe Watkins Accuses Obama of "Breaking Into" our "Children's School Day" to Indoctrinate Them

You're right about the sly smile...it disarms people. But check out how aggressive he is and how he cuts people off and then keeps talking over everyone else's turn. Very few moderators or other guests seem willing to stand their ground and cut him off..

Murdoch and Fox Portray Black Men as Terrorists on 24

Beware of the "shiny-eyed" supremacists and the rampant individualism Murdoch is helping to spread through his "spiritual" and "self-empowerment" networks and codes. They are the modern front of his war of "spiritual terror" on the collective spirit of ONENESS and "the more just and perfect UNION" our times and planet cry out for. These networks are incredibly seductive and seduce even the most liberal and loving amongst us, especially those who feel, are, and/or have been abused, abandoned, rejected, and powerless.

They get their "shiny eyes" and sense of power, then often speak in "spiritual tongues," or even talk about our being "One." But they are thoroughly infected by the virus of rampant individualism and are totally committed to their own superiority and supremacy.

Don't be fooled by their seeming power and symbolic gestures. But observe how they deal with those who don't submit to the imposition of their supremacy. Then you will see the "mark of Murdoch" in their deeds as they hide behind the veil of "plausible deniability."
