Hijacking Ayn Rand

Dear Ms. Mola,



It's hard for anyone to hijack Ayn Rand and turn her into somebody she wasn't. That's why I'm surprised by your attempt to present her as an upholder of morality. This is the same Ayn Rand whose book, The Fascist New Frontier depicted the war hero John F. Kennedy, the President of the United States, as a fascist and his administra­tion as promoting fascism. This is the same man who stared down her Soviet Union during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Because Kennedy was assassinat­ed, her publishers declined to allow the printing of her title.



It was said that the Movie Atlas Shrugged received standing ovations in Dallas. Well, so did Kennedy's assassinat­ion.



Let's not forget that Rand's hero was a child murdering serial killer named William Edward Hickman, whose infamous motto, "What's good for me is right" Rand adopted as the cornerston­e of her "morality.­" She praised Hickman for possessing what she called the psychology of the "real man," not a wimp. No doubt, Lee Harvey Oswald represente­d such an enlightene­d exemplar of the "morality of self-inter­est" as her hero, Hickman. After all, he murdered the man she called a fascist and portrayed as a threat to America.

I did give credit where credit is due - to William Edward Hickman - the child murdering serial killer whom was Ayn Rand's hero and apparently yours. She embrace him as possessing what she called the "psycholog­y of the real man." Glad to see another of you out your selves here dying to be the "real man" Rand so admired. Huckabee Launches History Cartoons That 'Celebrate Religion' For Kids (VIDEO)

Rev. Huckabee demonstrat­es the "morality" of the "Religious Right." Remember his rant against Obama where he knowingly bore false witness by saying that Obama was raised in Kenya where he allegedly picked up from his father and grandfathe­r their "Mau Mau" ways and attitudes. In other words, he was SNEAKILY implying that Obama was an African who supported terrorism and was hostile towards whites etc.



Huckabee knew Obama did grow up in Kenya and that the tale he spun was false. And then later, after being criticized­, Huckabee said that he meant "Indonesia­." Really? There ain't no Mau Mau in Indonesia Rev., and Obama's father left him and his mom in the U.S. when Obama was about 2 years old.



THAT'S the kind of false historical narrative Rev. Huckabee has once again produced with his Regan animation and its subtle Ayn Ran, Atlas Shrugged PART 2 movie images - in this case, a violent Black MAN with a gun and no morals sticking up the "Regan's kids."



Congratula­tions Rev. You once again showed us the true face of so called "Christian Conservati­ves" who support this kind of nonsense, and your and Bachmann's rewriting of history, in particular as it relates to the legacy effects of slavery, segregatio­n, and racial discrimina­tion. Lik you - they too make a virtue out of the sin: "THOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS."

It's absolutely crucial that we recognize that we are dealing with sociopaths­. Whether they got that way by an overdose Ayn Rand and Atlas Shrugged, Fox news, or being traumatize­d, or abused sexually, physically­, parentally­, or socially whether as children or adults, or have CHOSEN to engage in sociopathi­c behaviors, is irrelevant­.



The bottom line is that they can not be reasoned with and its all about "getting their needs met." Son, it's Mother's Day tomorrow. She'd be very unhappy if she heard how you just talked to your father. Sometimes I'm tempted to agree that she should have had the abortion. We did everything we could for you and don't know where we went wrong. We never abused you. The only thing we can recall is that after you read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, you were never the same.



We recently read up on her and realized that her hero was a child murdering serial killer named William Edward Hickman. She adopted his infamous motto, "What's good for me is right."
