F&F. I love your quote by Rogers about Atlas Shrugged. Brilliant. The only thing I would add to it is the following (in caps):

Atlas Shrugged, But You Shouldn't

I love how a bunch of right-wing trolls are collecting welfare checks from Koch and Rove's political action committees whose cash they looted through the Citizens United Decision by the Randite Roberts Supreme Court (with 'kickbacks to Clarence' through his wife of course).

That 'Federal Government subsidy' pays for them to troll and parasitically attach themselves to liberal blogs like HP, often looting liberal usernames and profile pics, or pretending to be disgruntled ex-Obama supporters or demoralized ex-Dems etc., as they engage classic "meme warfare" disinformation campaigns.

Their m.o. is straight out of the Rovian playbook and designed to either dumb down the debate, intentionally inflict emotional and mental distress, and/or spread the ideology of William Hickman, the serial killer whom Rand lionized and whose infamous motto, "What's good for me is right"

Rand adopted from Hickman, praising it as "the psychology of the REAL MAN."

So yeah, we got a lot of "real man" trolls more about treason than reason, playing parasites as they mooch off HP, loot liberals, and lay back on their 'Paul Ryan hammocks' bought and paid for by the Government's 'Citizens United.' SOCIOPATHS!

Atlas Shrugged, But You Shouldn't

Just got through watching the movie. The simplistic depictions I believe will find great appeal among those already brainwashed by Rand's serial killer inspired ideology. One of Rand's hero's was a serial killer named William Hickman, whose infamous motto was, "What's good for me is right." Rand idolized Hickman for what she described as his "real man psychology."

I'll save more elaborate commentary for a separate article, but suffice it to say that Paul Ryan admits to his "crush" on Ayn Rand. And the Kochs, who founded the Cato Institute, adhere to Rand's serial killer inspired "psychology" and have been promoting it for decades.

The best model with which to predict the behavior of Republicans, the Tea Party and their sponsors is the serial killer philosophy and behavior of William Hickman, lionized, popularized, and made more palatable by Rand, and adopted hook, line, and sinker by the right-wing in general. That's why they are political predators and sociopaths who are more about treason than reason especially when dealing with President Obama and anything that suggests equality or the philosophy of Jesus, whether the parable of the Good Samaritan, or this gem:

"As you do unto to the least of my brothers, you do unto me." - and he didn't mean fetuses.

I know that many progressives have great misgivings about Obama, but he delivered an "in your face Paul Ryan/Ayn Rand" speech today that strongly challenged the Right's sociopathic vision for the country in a way I've not seen a President dare do before.

I voted for Obama before, and I'll vote for him again. Unlike some on the Left, I voted for Obama for President, NOT Messiah. Like most African Americans in this country, I've been forced to take a sober account of the "powers that be" in this country. We've never had the privilege or luxury to just assume that our representatives could take these powers on without a movement backing them up. We've had to be a great deal more practical in how we view the possibility structure in this country and what's realistic politically.

Fervor Of Wisconsin Debate Shifts To Recall Elections

George W. Bush accounted for 33% of the entire debt that accumulated from time of the Nation's founding. A trillion of it just for HIS Iraq War of choice. Republicans love to talk about "our children" and reducing the debt - just like Bush and Reagan. Yet they piled up more debt than anybody. Although I used to be an investment banker and commercial real estate developer, thankfully, I didn't adopt a right-wing ideology that keeps believing in the same false, trickle-down theories and that sees the people that don't benefit from this undemocratic, phony, lie of theory as "parasites" ala Rand, Ryan, and Walker's philosophy.

Had I adopted that ideology, my cognitive abilities would also have been degraded such that no matter that Bush and Republicans racked up the overwhelming majority of this debt, I would continue to believe in these people and their crackpot theories. The Republican credo which allows them to fool people is really quite simple, and they are masters at embodying it and sucking people in:

"HONESTY AND SINCERITY ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE. ONCE YOU LEARN HOW TO FAKE THEM, THE REST'S A PIECE OF CAKE."

Fervor Of Wisconsin Debate Shifts To Recall Elections

Ok. So the Republicans have a fetus fetish. Yet, while they bemoan the terrible cost of the deficit on "our children," they propose program killing cuts that hurt kids, moms, the elderly, folks on hard times, working people, the economy and just might kill off the recovery.

Of course it all fits the serial killer inspired philosophy of Ayn Rand, who's hero was William Hickman, the most infamous serial killer of her time. She praised him for possessing the "psychology" of a "real man," adopting his motto of, "Whats good for me is right."

Well, Walker, like Paul Ryan, has adopted Ayn Rand's serial killer "real man" psychology, lock, stock and barrel. Yet, he has the nerve to say he's concerned about Wisconsin's deficit and its effect on the children. Well I'm concerned about the example that Republicans' lies, sociopathy and predatory behavior will have on our children.

So, in light of their claim that 90% of Planned Parenthood is devoted to performing abortions (it's actually only 3%), their feigned concern for children, yet their predatory example and cuts on kids, consider this slogan for the Wisconsin recall campaign:

Paul Ryan's budget plan, which he calls a "Cause," mirrors the extremist ideology of right-wing icon, Ayn Rand, whose language he aped in his response to the President's State of the Union address, talking about lazy “hammock” dwellers taking money from the Government. Kyl said that his lie wasn't meant to be a factual statement. Well, by definition, something that's not meant to be a factual statement is a deliberate lie. These people will say anything and stop at nothing to control everything - or privatize it. And the Republican behavior during this budget "negotiation" (it was really a "stick up") completely conformed to the motto of a famous serial named Hickman, whom Ayn Rand openly admired and praised and whose philosophy she adopted. His famous saying was: "What's good for me is right," to which Rand replied: "Now that's a real man's psychology."

Well, that "real man's" serial killer psychology was much on display by the right-wingers in Congress, who obviously believe that "what's good for the right-wing is right." And Kyl's lie and subsequent excuse aptly demonstrated the sociopathy of the right-wing approach to political discourse and behavior - the Rand way.

Anyway, sociopathy with a smile is still sociopathy.
