Just got through watching the movie. The simplistic depictions I believe will find great appeal among those already brainwashe
d by Rand's serial killer inspired ideology. One of Rand's hero's was a serial killer named William Hickman, whose infamous motto was, "What's good for me is right." Rand idolized Hickman for what she described as his "real man psychology
."
I'll save more elaborate commentary for a separate article, but suffice it to say that Paul Ryan admits to his "crush" on Ayn Rand. And the Kochs, who founded the Cato Institute, adhere to Rand's serial killer inspired "psycholog
y" and have been promoting it for decades.
The best model with which to predict the behavior of Republican
s, the Tea Party and their sponsors is the serial killer philosophy and behavior of William Hickman, lionized, popularize
d, and made more palatable by Rand, and adopted hook, line, and sinker by the right-wing in general. That's why they are political predators and sociopaths who are more about treason than reason especially when dealing with President Obama and anything that suggests equality or the philosophy of Jesus, whether the parable of the Good Samaritan, or this gem:
"As you do unto to the least of my brothers, you do unto me." - and he didn't mean fetuses.
