ed WHILE LEADING the Movement!
Dr. King and many others were murdered, tortured, and lost their livelihood
s to CHANGE America to BEGIN to include people like Cain. Blacks died fighting in America's wars, yet came home only to suffer the ravages of racism, poverty, segregatio
n...And Dr. King WAS STILL leading the movement to change that America when killed. Yet, to help peddle the presumed "authentic
ity" of his "Blackness
" to right-wing Whites, Cain portrayed it as over years before.
Cain not only played the racist "birther card" but openly promoted racist sentiment towards Obama and Black people, knowing his BEST shot at gaining support from his "base" is to say anti-Black things that are harder for other candidates to say. He provides cover for the rightwing to pull out the full arsenal of racist attitudes and beliefs while masking the racial component of their hatred towards Obama, Black's, Hispanics, liberals, and "the Government
," which they largely associate with "minoritie
s," e.g, saying "Obamacare
" was "reparatio
ns" for Blacks and "payoff" for "the illegals' vote."
They say: "How can I be racist? I support Cain." How? Supporting a "BLACK WHITE-SUPR
EMACIST" to mask your race-based hate makes you one.
