So true. And it's not just the Christian Conservatives. There's a much subtler echo chambers out there promoting calls to action on a personal level that exacerbate injustice, e.g. what I call "Landmark Forum Fundamentalism," and an old friend/spiritual leader calls "white spiritual supremacy." With regards to the latter, he describes people who watch or read "The Secret" and show up to a spiritual center on Sunday to practice "New Age Spiritual Hedonism." More on this later.
