on for Clint's movies - as an actor or director. I think he's great. That's a big difference between us and a large plurality of Conservati
ves, who REFUSE to see any Morgan Freeman movies.
I find that consistent with the mentality of so many Conservati
ves I've spoken with or read their blogs over the years, including those backing Cain. Inevitably
, their FAVORITE Eastwood movie is, "DIRTY HARRY." And their favorite scenes are when Clint's Harry Callahan character POINTS HIS GUN IN THE FACE OF A BLACK MAN and dares him to murder the woman he's taken hostage so Callahan can have the pleasure of shooting him in the face: "Go ahead, make my day."
The other scene is when Clint points his gun at an over the top "ebonics speaking" BLACK thief laying wounded on the ground and says:
"I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement
, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk?"
[Callahan pulls the trigger, but the gun just clicks and he grins]
