F&F. That stage of life is often called the "happy victimizer­," because children will often prefer the character of a story that gets what they want even though they hurt others to get it. Healthy people grow out of that phase. Unhealthy ones don't, and many regress when they read Rand as young teenagers in high school and/or become "young Republican­s" in college.
