I can attest to this. My University­'s library has permitted me to see things and make connection­s that I never would by merely using its online library services. So both the online and face-to-fa­ce in tandem create a synergy greater than the sum of either taken separately­.

I had any number of bookstores I used to go to and be able to eat, drink, hang out, meet people, etc. Now, their home to "The Gap," "Urban Outfitter,­" and the like.
