Palin's hero, the Jesus-hati
ng Ayn Rand worshiped the sociopathi
c serial killer, William Hickman. She made his motto, "What's Good For Me Is Right" her creed, which is as central to understand
ing the right-wing as "The British Are Coming" is to Paul Revere's midnight ride.
But "Palin%u20
19s peeps" got caught changing Wikipedia to match her false account of that ride. Rather than warning Americans about the Brits' coming, Palin portrayed Revere threatenin
g the British to NOT come and take away Americans' guns and right to bear arms.
In other words Palin fabricated an analogy whereby right-wing
ers can cloak themselves in the "borrowed robes" of Revere's patriotism to treasonous
ly threaten "King Obama" and his "oppressiv
e government
" to not limit their gun rights or face "2nd Amendment remedies" and the same fate as the Brits.
That's no mistake. As usual, she's stoking paranoia and making veiled threats. When she got caught in her revision of history she made paranoid accusation
s against the "liberal media" for playing "gotcha."
Since paranoia and sociopathy are potentiall
y dangerous forms of serious mental illness, perhaps Palin is scared that she and her gun-toting legions might lose their weapons should limits be placed on the possession guns by those with serious mental illness.
After all, guns and veiled threats are what the Right's power to intimidate
, retaliate, and back up their "Big Lie Machine" rest on. It%u2019s how they roll and rule and the only way they can win.
