I think it’s sad that almost NONE of the news coverage cited that Sanchez was responding to the outrageous suggestion by the media interviewe
r that Jewish Americans are an oppressed racial minority like Latinos. If that were true, then Latinos (and Blacks) would at least be at parity with Jewish people in their representa
tion, both behind the camera and in decision-m
aking positions in the media. That’s why those refusing to seriously diversify their employee and managerial ranks are the ones who should be fired.

, empowered the Tea Party/GOP, and pulled the country further to the right. Yet, Sanchez gets fired. What about Pat Buchanon? Just look at the staffs of Jon Stewart and Colbert. Almost ALL White. Lawrence O’Donnell brought out his staff yesterday to applaud Gov. Christie. I saw NO Blacks among the 14.
