The Problem with Homophobia

The more people like Rick Santorum, Perry, Bachmann, et al try to pimp gay people in order to appeal to the GOP "base" and win votes, the more they ought to get down on their knees and thank gay people for giving them an issue with which to "distingui­sh" and identify themselves as the hateful, right-wing paleopaths and homophobes that they are - and homophobia is the crack they sell to be smoked up like "free base" to their strung-out "base."
