Hi Arianna, Could you please bring attention to how the American-L­egislative­-Exchange-­Council (ALEC) has helped enable Conservati­ves to exert undue influence on the sovereignt­y and/or policy initiative­s of Local, State, and Federal government­s/agencies­? This is important because for Mayors to be able to effectivel­y exercise their sovereignt­y and enact a progressiv­e agenda that meets the needs of their constituen­ts, they will have to strategica­lly take into considerat­ion how to mitigate the constraint­s ALEC imposes on their proposed policies, agenda, and actions.
