Murdoch and Fox Portray Black Men as Terrorists on 24

Savojah: Perhaps the most traumatic national tragedy that the citizenry can suffer is the assassintation of their President - that threat was constantly present for the first Pres. Parker in 24.

The fear of that outcome was a concern during our nations' recent election cycle. That's why it was not openly discussed. To do so would have triggered a fear response in the electorate and worked against Obama.

I think that's part of the downside worth considering. That fear is a lot more powerful than the positive image of the 1st Pres Parker you described. It's the positive imagery that provides the "plausible deniability."
