Some great points here. Lest we forget Ashley Todd, the young Republican worker who claimed she was attacked by a big angry Black man enraged over her being a McCain supporter, and who allegedly carved a B for Barack in her face and attempted to molest her...she did it to herself and honestly believed she'd get away with it and be believed. Of course, Fox ran with the fake story. Thankfully, she pulled her self-mutilation stunt in Pittsburgh where there are a lot of Blacks on the police force and not in what Palin called the "real America" parts of Pennsylvania - the outcome of the election might have been different. A lot of people initially believed that story because as Americans we are all primed to believe it.
