As a Jesuit Trained Catholic I'm appalled at the hijacking and perversion of religion and Christianity by the U.S. Catholic Bishops, (i.e., the 1% Right-wing Oligarchs of the Catholic Church), as well as their most wealthy and wayward Republican patrons, and Conservative "prosperity gospel" preaching Pastors with their "mega-churches" and multi-they've fleeced from their wolves in sheep's clothing.
Collectively they're attempting to impose their SHARIA-esque Sovereignty over our minds and bodies (including bodily fluids, family planning, health and partnership choices, zygotes, embryos, etc.) and cloak their agenda of PRIVATIZING THE PUBLIC SPHERE (e.g., schools, prisons, water, Social Security, Medicare, etc.) in the "sanctimonious robes" of their stolen and phony "moral authority."
That's why it's WE, whether secular, spiritual, or otherwise, who must follow in Jesus' footsteps, since THEY excommunicated him from Christianity and replaced him with Ayn Rand.
And just as Jesus drove the Pharisees, idolators, liars, and money changers from His "Father's House" (House of Worship), WE need to chase out the "PEOPLE"S HOUSE (Congress and Government) the sanctimonious socio/paths wearing the same shoes as the Pharisees of old before they take us all "straight to hell" with them.
In the meantime: OBAMA/DEMS 2012!
