VERSUS
those Conservative Democrats who chose to become Republicans instead, e.g.., Strom Thurmond and the legions of Conservatives who followed him into the Republican Party.
These types are all over HP with their decpetive and duplicitous cover-up of today's Conservative Movement and its ra..st roots which Byrd disavowed and THEY never mention this disavowal NOR mention STROM THURMOND as the FATHER of the MODERN CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT etc. FIENDISH!
