Dear ALL:
Please note how certain Conservatives have chosen THIS article to comment on to make the point that TRAYVON MARTIN"S MURDER had NOTHING to do with RACE., just like they made the SAME argument about the "Re-Nig-Bumper Sticker" article yesterday.
They also say that the Civil War was NOT fought primarily over Conservative Southerner's wanting to maintain Slavery, and also that the Conservative War against Liberal anti-Segregation and pro-Civil Rights efforts had NOTHING to do with Race. RATHER, THEY say Conservatives fought BOTH of those WARS to protect the abstract Conservative principle of "STATES RIGHTS!"
Then they play the VICTIM CARD when their very assertion that an issue/problem has NOTHING to do with race is contested and shown to be without empirical and historical basis. Their playing the VICTIM, not to mention their bogus arguments and fallacious historical revisionism, is evidence of THEIR playing the MASTER RACE CARD, which they think TRUMPS every other argument,. i.e., because THEY say RACE is NOT involved automatically MAKES it so, no matter how much the TRUTH and Black folks and other people of color and good faith suffer because of such WILLFUL BLINDNESS AND/OR DECEPTION.
