I've read an earlier comment by HP Blogger, "Binky Phillps" about Allen West being a "self-loathing Afro-American" who with Clarence Thomas "hate his race" and "wear their contempt for their own people like some kind of perverted badge of Pride."
Mr Phillps is White. I am a bi-racial African American and have written extensively on the subject of Black Conservatives. Though more substantive, I have said things far less blunt about West and Cain, which have not been posted by moderators. I will not repeat them here. However, I do ask that the moderators please post this comment and that HP users please take the time to read my following articles and not just dismiss Black Conservatives as "self-haters." There's MUCH more to it than that:
