Catholic Bishops Start 'Fortnight For Freedom' Initiative, Issue Rallying Cry For 'Religious Freedom'

Those priests were Fathers Lennon and Swansen. And the Jesuit priest, Father John Browning was instrumental in recruiting my brother and I to attend the Jesuit High School in Jersey City, St. Peter's Prep, where we both graduated, and where I had translated the "Odyssey" by the time I was 17 as part of 2 year "odyssey" with eleven other students in my class doing the "ancient Greek" honors program. In fact, the Jesuits placed more emphasis on exposing us the broadest possible intellectual, spiritual, and moral influences than they ever did the bible or "Church dogma" etc.

And I'll never forget Father Ray York and the magnificent musical play he wrote called "Rosemary in the Rain" and that I was in, which honored women from beginning to end and instilled in us boys a respect for women and appreciation for what he described as seeing God through and in the eyes of women, etc.

Or how Father Browning and other priests would compete to have my Mom bake her famous German bread to used as Communion in during the Masses they presided over...

Brings tears to my eyes thinking of these things...That's why it hurts so much when I see so many "secular Progressives" wholesale cast us in the same lot they do ALL Christianity, religion, and the Catholic Church etc. because of the horrible abuses and crimes that their CONSERVATIVE LEADERS have and continue to perpetuate, etc.
