Regarding Weissberg, Derbyshire, Ailes, O'Reilly, Hannity, et al, I previously wrote the following, which I hope the moderators will not censure because of its stark truth. it sheds light on the terrible double standard that has helped create the norm you've described, which has allowed "Conservatives" to mask their white-s/prmcy/ra.c.s, BEHIND being referred to simply as "Conservatives" by both politicos, the public, and the media. This has allowed white-s/prmcy and anti-Black bigotry to flourish with respectability and create so much distress and difficulty not only to our Democracy, but especially to African Americans.
""If Weissberg, Derbyshire, Ailes, O'Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh, et al spoke about Jewish history/people the way they speak about Black folks/history, Trayvon and his family and Obama and his, they would NOT be rewarded by calling them simply, "Conservatives." Rather, they''d be called "ANTI-SEMITES and "HOLOCAUST DENIERS" as well they should.
