The mainstream media, political pundits, commentators, Liberal Blogs etc. etc. etc. have made white-supremacy and anti-Black animus, resentment, and bigotry NORMAL.
How? By rewarding people who behave in such ways and express such sentiments towards Black folks and speak about and maliciously portray them, their history and important issues in a false and negative light. Specifically, they continue to give them media and blog platforms to spew it and then legitimate it by calling it a "Conservative perspective" RATHER than the rac.st white-supremacy it is.
If the people doing this to Black folks/history did it to Jewish people/history instead, it WOULD NOT be called "Conservatism" and the people doing it "Conservatives." Rather, they'd be RIGHTFULLY called "HOLOCAUST DENIERS" & "ANTI-SEMITIC" and like Rick Sanchez, would never be seen again for even "implying" disparaging things.
It pains me to say this, but always every time I've submitted a comment that makes this point it doesn't get posted. YET, some of the most hurtful, racist, vile comments towards Black folks in general, or people like President Obama and Trayvon Martin and his family in particular, DO get posted.
